ROASTED COCOA SPICED TURKEY; intermediate recipe
Thanksgiving 2020 will be one for the history books. It will be times of smaller celebrations, but hopefully bigger thanks for what we do have.
We also hope that with the time not spent traveling, it will be the perfect chance to create new food memories around your table starting with this fun and delicious recipe.

Shopping List:
Cabernet2 Pairing Salts™ | half turkey breast, bone-in | canola oil | Ziploc bag, gallon size
Directions:
1. - Place split turkey breast, approximately 2.5lbs, into a Ziploc bag with 3tbsps of Cabernet2 Pairing Salts™ and enough water to cover meat -Brining, when the seasoned water is absorbed by the turkey, will result in a moister, juicier meat - bye-bye dry turkey. Seal and place Ziploc in refrigerator overnight.
2. - Remove turkey from brining solution which should be discarded, and pat the turkey dry. Make a wet rub with 3tbsp of Cabernet2 Pairing Salts™ with 3tbsp of canola oil, rub mixture evenly on turkey.
3. - Roast at 400 degrees for approximately 15min, then reduce heat to 325 and bake for approximately 15min. Remove from oven when juices run clear...and until then, pop open a bottle of Cabernet or a bottle of porter or stout beer to quaff with it!
