I ADULTED!! MAC-N-CHEESE; Easy recipe
Adulting doesn't have to mean boring! Our adult version of Mac-N-Cheese brings back the fun in this childhood favorite while teaching you basic adult cooking skills to make a roux, a bechamel, and morney.
Plus a simple twist of adding Chardonnay 1 meal starters, and topping with our Tomatillo & Wasabi chips, grows the flavors up into a tasty adult version that pairs perfectly with a glass of Chardonnay, Prosecco or an IPA, Pale Ale, or Light Lager.

Chardonnay 1 Pairing Salts® | Tomatillo & Wasabi Kettle-Cooked Chips | *8oz cooked elbow macaroni | *2tbsp butter | *2tbsp AP flour | *1C milk | *2C shredded cheddar cheese | *1C sour cream

Directions:
1. - In medium saucepan, melt 2tbsp butter over medium heat.
2. - Add 2tbsp flour and Pairing Salts® to butter, this is called a roux, and whisk until mixture is slightly brown.
3. - Add 1C milk and whisk until the mixture is smooth, this is called a bechamel sauce, then add 1C sour cream. Continue whisking until the mixture thickens, but do not boil.
4. - Reduce heat and add cheese whisking mixture until the sauce, this is called a mornay sauce, then add cooked elbow macaroni.
5. - Spoon mac-n-cheese into a buttered serving dish, topped with handfuls of Tomatillo & Wasabi Kettle-Cooked Chips, and place under the broil for 10minutes to brown and crisp. Serve immediately.
